Regling: Hellas muß den Gürtel enger schnallen

"The tone in the eurozone is getting decidedly uglier. Klaus Regling, the head of the EFSF, said yesterday that the Greek programme was not working. He said that in a monetary union the only adjustment mechanism was falling wages. "The ugly truth is that countries have to cut their standard of living.” He seems to have given up on Greece."
